Everyone loves going to the mall, and there is at least one mall in most major cities. So why not make a mall trip a family adventure? There are the stores, restaurants and entertainment choices that a mall has to offer a family. A trip to the mall doesn’t have to be expensive either.
Walking is one of the things that a family can do together at a mall that is completely free. Window shop at the stores and let each other know what you want for the next big holiday. Or half of the family can walk in one direction, and the other half can walk the other way. Then see who can reach a certain point the fastest. Walking is not only fun, but it is healthy, too.
Most malls have a small snack bar or somewhere to get ice cream. The family can treat themselves to lunch or supper, and then enjoy an ice cream cone. Take the time to talk to each other and catch up on current events in the family. If the mall has a movie theater, take the time to watch a movie together. Set aside some time to go to a local mall and enjoy being a family.
